And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:4-8; Revelation 6:1-8
The Beginning of Sorrows
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. Daniel 9:27a
The Antichrist’s covenant with many marks the beginning of the Tribulation.
A series of events takes place during the 7-year Tribulation, among others:-
The falling away of the Church.
An escalation of wars, rumours of wars and earthquakes.
Widespread famines and deadly diseases.
Is the Antichrist’s covenant a Treaty or a Secret Pact? Are we seeing an escalation of wars and earthquakes?
Would we be seeing a worldwide famine caused by the collapse of the global economy and an acute shortage of food as a result of the prolonged Covid-19 lockdown?
Would these together with the Covid-19 vaccine fatalities and 5G radiation exposure wipe out a quarter of our world’s population? Revelation 6:8
Has the Tribulation begun?
The Great Tribulation
Matthew 25:15-29; Revelation 6:12-17
The 3½-year Great Tribulation follows the Beginning of Sorrows.
And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Daniel 9:27b
The Antichrist makes his first definitive appearance when he comes on the scene mid-way through the 7-year Tribulation.
He breaks the covenant that he had made and desecrates the Third Temple at Jerusalem. 2 Thessalonians 2:4
The Mark of the Beast system is then instituted. Revelation 13:16 & 17
Rebuilding the Temple at Jerusalem
Plans are underway to reconstruct the Temple at Jerusalem, by the Israelites, to herald the coming of their messiah.
The Church is Deceived
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4 & 5
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 2 Thessalonians 2:3
Are we seeing the falling away of the Church a reality today?
What is visibly missing in the end-time picture is the Church. It is not around to save the world at its most vulnerable moment, in its greatest hour of need.
There is no end-time prophecy of the Church valiantly standing up against the tyranny of Satan and his army.
It is painfully silent during this current crisis and has also gone into lockdown and self-imprisonment along with the rest of the world.
The Church has been largely deceived and neutralised by false Christs preaching the false gospel.
Of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation 2 and 3, five were rebuked by Jesus.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Revelation 3:2
The falling away of the Church provides the setting for the emergence of the evil forces that have been operating in the dark. It has emboldened the devil and his agents to rear their ugly heads and wreck havoc on Earth.
With Satan’s greatest threat and the single institution that could have made a real difference out of the way, he can move in for the kill.
We can assume that the man of sin, the Antichrist is now on Earth, coordinating end-time events and advancing his end-time agenda.
The world is waking up to the tyranny enforced upon them. Pockets of resistance are rising up everywhere.
The Resistance is putting up a fight, the best they know how, but is simply no match against Satan and his army of highly intelligent and powerful agents.
God has lifted His hand to allow the devil to have his way with man.
This is the end-time reality we have to accept and to brace ourselves for the worst to come.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Revelation 13:7
The easiest route out of the Tribulation is the Rapture or the Blessed Hope, but are you seeing Tribulation events taking place? If you are, it can only mean one of two things: You missed the rapture or the pre-tribulation rapture does not exist.
Whether you hold to a Pre-tribulational or a Post-tribulational rapture position, you want to be prepared, in the event you got your end-time timeline wrong.
God who sees the end from the beginning has revealed to us in His Word how things will end. He will bring clarity to end-time events as they unfold.
God expects us to watch and pray, to be alert and to closely monitor current events.
Follow biblical end-time prophecies, to stay ahead of end-time events, and not be caught unprepared.
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:33
